Ripa Elevate ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users, particularly the children who use our assessment platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text.
Child information: To create an assessment profile, we collect your child's first name, grade level, and whether they have an IEP. We do not collect your child's full name, date of birth, school name, or Social Security number.
Assessment data: When your child takes an assessment, we record their answers, time spent, difficulty level, and use of support tools (hints, listen, steps). This data is used solely to generate their assessment report.
Payment information: Payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
We use Supabase for our database, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit, row-level security policies, and secure authentication. Access to child data is restricted to the parent who created the account. Admin access is limited to platform founders for support purposes only.
Ripa Elevate is designed for use by parents on behalf of their children. Children do not create accounts. A parent or legal guardian must create an account and initiate all assessments. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or your child's assessment data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
We retain your account and assessment data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible in read-only mode. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information and your child's assessment data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us through our contact page.
