The Parent's Problem

School gave you a report. You still don't know what it means.

01

School assessments happen on their timeline, not yours

You wait months for an evaluation. Then another month for results. By the time you see a report, the IEP meeting is next week and you're walking in unprepared.

02

The reports are written for professionals, not parents

Standard scores. Percentile ranks. Confidence intervals. These documents are technically impressive and practically useless if you're not a licensed evaluator yourself.

03

They measure academic skills. Not life skills.

Your child's ability to make change, stay safe online, manage a schedule, or navigate a social situation is nowhere in a standard evaluation. Ripa Elevate puts it front and center.

04

You know your child. The report doesn't reflect that.

The person who knows your child best is you, and yet you're often the last one consulted. Ripa Elevate gives you independent data to bring to the table.

Common questions

What is Ripa Elevate, and what isn't it?
What it is: An independent educational snapshot that gives parents clearer information about their child's daily living, safety, executive function, and academic skills before an IEP meeting. Results are immediate, plain-language, and designed to help you advocate more effectively.

What it is not: Not a clinical diagnosis, not an official evaluation, and not a replacement for assessment by a licensed professional. Ripa Elevate is supplemental to — not a substitute for — your child's school evaluations and any clinical assessments ordered by your team.
Is this a clinical assessment?
No. Ripa Elevate is not a clinical or diagnostic tool and should not replace an evaluation by a licensed professional. It is an educational platform designed to help parents and educators understand a student's functional skill level across key areas. Think of it as a starting point for conversations, not an official diagnosis.
How long does an assessment take?
Each category takes approximately 15–25 minutes, depending on your child's pace. The exam is untimed. There is no pressure to finish quickly. Your child can take breaks between categories.
Can my child do this on their own?
Yes. Once you set up the session, your child can take the assessment independently. The platform includes a read-aloud button on every question, hint support, and step-by-step scaffolding so they can navigate without you hovering. That said, you're welcome to sit with them, especially for the first session.
How soon do I get results?
Results are available immediately when your child submits the assessment. You'll receive an email notification and can view the full report in your parent dashboard right away.
Can I share the report with my child's school?
Absolutely. The PDF report is designed to be shared. Clear enough for parents to understand, professional enough for IEP teams. Many parents bring it directly to IEP meetings as supplemental information about their child's real-world skill functioning.
What ages is this designed for?
Ripa Elevate is designed for learners of any age, from preschool through high school and transition age. The adaptive engine automatically adjusts question difficulty to match your child's level, whether they are in early elementary or preparing for life after high school. It works for students with IEPs, autism spectrum conditions, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and language processing differences.
